Day 1. Dushanbe
Meet and greet at Dushanbe International Airport. From the very first moments of your arrival, you will experience the warm hospitality that Tajikistan is famous for. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Overnight in Dushanbe.
Day 2. Ancient Dushanbe & Hissar Fortress
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Dushanbe, a city where modern life blends harmoniously with centuries-old traditions. Your sightseeing tour starts at the National Museum of Antiquities, where you will discover the fascinating history of Tajikistan dating back thousands of years. After lunch, travel to the legendary Hissar Fortress, an impressive 18th-century architectural complex surrounded by ancient madrasahs and a 16th-century mausoleum. A walk through this remarkable historical site offers a unique glimpse into the country's rich cultural heritage. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3. Iskanderkul
After breakfast, depart for the breathtaking Lake Iskanderkul. The scenic drive takes you through the picturesque Varzob Gorge and across the majestic Anzob Pass (140 km, approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy lunch on the shores of the legendary lake, surrounded by dramatic mountains and evergreen forests. Take a leisurely walk along the lake while learning about its history and the legends connected with Alexander the Great. Visit the mysterious Snake Lake, a peaceful spot perfect for photography, before continuing to the spectacular Fann Niagara Waterfall, cascading from a height of 43 meters. You will also see the famous rock inscription " Рускiе, 1870", left during the expedition of the renowned Russian explorer Alexei Fedchenko. After some free time to relax and admire the magnificent scenery, continue through the beautiful Zeravshan Valley to Panjakent.
Day 4. Seven Lakes
After breakfast, travel into the magnificent Fann Mountains to visit the famous Seven Lakes. Each lake has its own unique color, depth, and character, creating an unforgettable landscape of turquoise waters, towering peaks, and pristine mountain scenery. Enjoy lunch on the shore of the Seventh Lake, surrounded by spectacular natural beauty. After lunch, there will be free time for hiking, photography, or simply relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere before returning to Panjakent.
Day 5. Ancient Sarazm & Historic Panjakent
After breakfast, depart for the archaeological site of Sarazm, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a history spanning more than 5,500 years. Considered one of the earliest urban settlements in Central Asia, Sarazm offers a fascinating insight into the region's ancient civilizations. Return to Panjakent, a city founded in the 5th century, renowned for its rich history and authentic atmosphere. After lunch at a traditional teahouse, stroll through the historic Panjakent Bazaar and visit the Olim Dodkho Mosque and Madrasah, built in the 19th century. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk through the historic streets of the city illuminated by lanterns.
Day 6. Mazar-i-Sharif Village & Return to Dushanbe
After breakfast, travel to the village of Mazar-i-Sharif, an important spiritual site that is home to the Mausoleum of Muhammad Bashoro, one of the most distinguished scholars of Hadith. The monument has been included on UNESCO's Tentative List of World Heritage Sites. Continue to the village of Panjrud, the birthplace of the great Persian-Tajik poet Abu Abdulla Rudaki, widely regarded as the father of Persian-Tajik literature. Enjoy lunch in the center of Ayni District before returning to Dushanbe. End of the tour.
