Tajikistan Grand Discovery

Meet and greet at the Batken–Isfara border crossing (Guliston Checkpoint), followed by a transfer to Khujand (135 km, approximately 2 hours). After lunch, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Khujand, one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. Visit the Archaeological Museum, explore the historic Khujand Fortress, and stroll through the beautiful Kamoli Khujandi Park. In the evening, experience a scenic cable car ride across the Syr Darya River from the left bank to the right bank, with a stop at the Ismoil Somoni Monument. Afterwards, enjoy a pleasant 850-meter walk to your hotel.

After breakfast, drive to the Kayrakkum Hydroelectric Power Station and the famous Kayrakkum Reservoir, widely known as the "Tajik Sea." Spend the day relaxing by the lake, with opportunities for swimming and boat rides. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Ravshan Restaurant, followed by a leisurely walk through Kamoli Khujandi Park, located near the hotel.

After breakfast, depart for Istaravshan. Visit the Hazrati Shoh Architectural Complex, including the Khudoyar Valami Mausoleum and the 19th-century Namazgah Mosque. Continue to the ancient Mug Teppa Fortress before having lunch. Afterwards, travel to Dushanbe (204 km, approximately 4 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy an evening walk through Independence Park before checking in to your hotel.

Following breakfast, explore the highlights of Dushanbe, including the National Museum of Tajikistan, the world's tallest flagpole (165 m), Ismoil Somoni Square, and the Ethnographic Museum. After lunch, travel to Hissar to visit the legendary Hissar Fortress, whose history spans more than 3,000 years. The journey then continues to the breathtaking Lake Iskanderkul, one of Tajikistan's most spectacular natural wonders, located at an altitude of approximately 2,200 meters and closely associated with the legend of Alexander the Great. Here you will visit Snake Lake, stroll through a picturesque birch grove, enjoy a picnic on the lakeshore, and admire the impressive "Fann Niagara" Waterfall, cascading from a height of 35 meters. Later, continue to Panjakent and check in at the hotel. At 19:00, enjoy dinner at the traditional Beshazor Teahouse.

After breakfast, set off for the magnificent Seven Lakes Valley (197 km). The route follows a chain of stunning mountain lakes: Khurdak, Khushor, Soya, Mijgon, Nofin, Hazorchashma, and Marguzor. Enjoy leisurely walks along the lakeshores and plenty of opportunities to capture unforgettable photographs of the breathtaking scenery. Often described as one of Tajikistan's greatest natural wonders, these turquoise lakes cascade beautifully through the Shing River Valley.

After breakfast, return to Panjakent (60 km) to explore the Old Town before visiting the ancient settlement of Sarazm, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a history of more than 5,500 years. After lunch, begin the return journey via Khujand and Isfara to the Batken border crossing.
