Day 1. Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free time. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2. Tashkent – Samarkand
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, our comfortable transfer will take you to the Tashkent railway station, and the high-speed train will bring you to another amazing city of our country – Samarkand (267 km). (Departure: 07:27 – Arrival: 11:38). Meeting with our professional guide, and you will immediately start the экскурсия: first you will find yourself in the heart of Samarkand at Registan Square, which consists of three stunning madrasahs – Ulugh Beg, Tillya-Kori, and Sher-Dor. It will be a насыщенный day, as the tour continues according to the program: visit to the Gur-Emir Mausoleum. Check-in at the hotel. Then you will enjoy a bread-making master class followed by dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3. Samarkand
Breakfast at the hotel and continuation of the city tour. Visit to the Ulugh Beg Observatory, Konigil Meros paper factory, the Eternal City Ethnographic Park, and the Shakhi Zinda memorial complex. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4. Samarkand – Panjakent
Early in the morning, transfer to the Samarkand–Panjakent border (Jartepa). Meeting at the Jartepa border. Visit to the village of Sarazm. Visit to the Rudaki Historical Museum. Exploration of the ancient city of Panjakent. Visit to the central bazaar and the Old Mosque nearby. Then departure to the Seven Lakes. In the evening, transfer back to Jartepa and further transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 5. Samarkand – Shakhrisabz
Transfer to the city of Shakhrisabz. In Shakhrisabz you will visit the Jahongir Mausoleum, the Dor-us-Saodat memorial complex, the ruins of the Ak-Saray Palace, and the Dor-ut-Tilovat ensemble with the Kok-Gumbaz Mosque and the tomb of Tamerlane’s father. After the экскурсия, transfer to the village of Gilon. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 6. Gilon – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand
In the morning, breakfast at the guesthouse. Walk around the village: teahouse, mill, blacksmith’s workshop, sacred site, and artist’s studio. In June, it is possible to take part in traditional plowing with donkeys or oxen and planting potatoes. Return to Samarkand. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7. Samarkand
Transfer to the international airport. Departure home.
