Classic tour to Kyrgyzstan

The picturesque Belogorka Gorge is located 80 kilometers southwest of Bishkek. Just an hour's easy hike along a mountain trail brings you to Belogorka, the largest waterfall in the northern Kyrgyz Range. The waterfall rises 60 meters. Enjoy a unique picnic opportunity near the waterfall, whose spray creates a mini-rainbow. Your journey will not be boring. You'll encounter an abundance of wild currants and hawthorns, rose hips and barberries, and see traces of a large mudflow (a powerful flow of mud and stones that destroys everything in its path). You'll also see one of the most beautiful peaks, the Black Kremlin, at 4,000 meters above sea level. Belogorka Gorge is especially beautiful in spring and summer, when the mountain slopes are strewn with flowers and covered with emerald grass.

Thirty kilometers south of Bishkek lies the Alamedin Gorge, a favorite recreation spot for both Bishkek residents and tourists. The gorge's natural beauty is incredibly diverse and a riot of color. The waterfalls in the Alamedin Gorge are striking in their unprecedented beauty, cascading down rocky cliffs. The gorge's most striking landmark is Usachenko Peak, at 4,650 meters. Our main goal today is to hike to this picturesque mountain waterfall. The stunning views, fresh air, and serenity from the bustle of the city will leave you feeling joyful and peaceful.

In the morning, we'll begin our journey toward the Boom Gorge. This area boasts stunningly beautiful canyons of red rock formations called the Konorchek Canyons. They are a unique site in Central Asia and are located 125 kilometers from Bishkek. Millions of years ago, this was a sea, then the seabed rose, forming a plateau, after which water and wind took their toll. Remarkably, they are composed of red sandstone and resemble the Grand Canyon in America. The hike to them takes two hours. The highlight of this hike is the stunning panoramic view from the mountaintop, from where the entire valley with its red labyrinths can be seen. At the end of the hike, we'll return to Bishkek.

Burana Tower is located 7 kilometers from the city of Tokmok. This 11th-century minaret is one of the first structures of its kind in Central Asia. From the 10th to 12th centuries, the Karakhanid Khanate, which conquered vast territories, occupied Central Asia and Kazakhstan. The capital of the Karakhanid state was the city of Balasagun. During the Karakhanid reign, new towns and settlements grew rapidly, major cities were transformed, and Muslim churches were erected in Balasagun. Burana Tower, numerous mausoleums, and other buildings discovered during archaeological excavations bear witness to this flourishing period. A fascinating tour of this fascinating medieval settlement awaits you. You can climb the tower, visit the local museum, and see well-preserved stone sculptures dating back to the 7th century.

Today we'll visit the remarkable Issyk-Ata gorge, located 77 km from Bishkek at an altitude of 1,775 meters in the valley of the same name. The mountain slopes are dotted with numerous alpine meadows, and fruit and ornamental trees grow near the resort. The local water has attracted visitors for centuries, and Issyk-Ata has become a pilgrimage site. Here, we'll hike to a picturesque waterfall along the gorge. On the way to the gorge, we'll stop at the Burane Tower for a short excursion. This unique minaret dates back to the 11th century and served as a place to call Muslims to prayer and a beacon for travelers on the caravan route. Nearby, there's an open-air museum displaying a collection of stone sculptures dating back to Turkic times. This day will be rich in Silk Road history, combined with views of the beautiful Tien Shan Mountains.

Lake Issyk-Kul is the most popular tourist destination in Kyrgyzstan and the second-largest high-altitude lake in the world (1,608 meters above sea level). The lake is often called the "pearl of Central Asia." Thanks to its salty water, Lake Issyk-Kul has therapeutic properties. The water is very clean. In the city of Cholpon-Ata, you will have the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions. On the way to Bishkek, visit the Burana Tower (an 11th-century minaret) and an open-air museum displaying a collection of stone sculptures.

Ala-Archa National Nature Park was established in 1976. The park is located in the Ala-Archa mountain gorge, 40 km from Bishkek. It covers 4,000 hectares. It is home to approximately 600 plant species, as well as various animal and bird species, including snow leopards, lynxes, short-toed eagles, bearded vultures, kumai, and saker falcons. It is one of the city's favorite recreation spots. In the park, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the magnificent views of the mountain peaks. After your walk, return to Bishkek.
