Day 1: Bishkek
Your guide will pick you up at Manas International Airport and accompany you to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, just a 30-minute drive from the airport. This entire day is dedicated to a guided tour of Bishkek. It includes visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. Night is at the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek – Ala Archa – Burana – Chon Kemin
In the morning we will visit Ala Archa gorge. It is a Natural Park. At the Soviet Time only V.I.P. people had permission to go for a walk here. The Ala Archa gorge is on a spur of the Tien Shan Mountain range. It is just 45 km from Bishkek. You can have a short hiking tour to see a panoramic view of the gorge. Then you will be transferred to Chon Kemin gorge. On route to the gorge, you will visit Burana Tower. It is a minaret dating from the 11th century. You can climb to the top if you wish to experience the same view that Silk Road travelers saw themselves. Burana Tower served as a sign along the Great Silk Road to let travelers know there was a city and place to have a rest. Nearby you will see an open-air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). These grave-stones look like warriors as they were made in honor of brave soldiers who died for their Motherland. Night is at the guesthouse.
Day 3: Chon Kemin – Issyk Kul Lake northern shore
In the morning we will have 3 hours of horse riding. Your route will go high in the mountains and you will even ride horses through a mountain forest. On the top you will see the panorama view of the gorge. After it you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m above sea level). Its length is 180 km and it is 60 km wide. The lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". For more than 1 500 years local people considered the lake to be a sacred one. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. You can come up to the lake and to see mountains all around it. At Soviet period the heads of governments had their houses near the lake to have a rest. Here you will also visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.). These petroglyphs were made more than 2000 years ago by shamans. Night is at the resort.
Day 4: Issyk Kul Lake northern shore – Grigorievskoye – Karakol
In the morning you will drive to beautiful Grigorievskoe gorge! This area is part of the national park. Here you will be able to enjoy the magnificent mountains covered with snow tops and slopes grown by blue and green pine trees. Then we continue our way along the northern shore of the lake to the town of Karakol. You will visit the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it was built in a Chinese style without using a single metal nail. The mosque will be followed by a visit to an old wooden Orthodox Church. Night is at the hotel.
Day 5: Karakol – Jeti Oguz – Issyk Kul Lake southern shore – Bokonbaevo
Today we will drive to Jeti Oguz gorge. It’s famous for its red rocks formations that have a name Seven Bulls – Jeti Oguz. Also you will see there the Broken Heart Mountain. We will make many photos there and if you want it is possible to go on a top of a mountain (20 minutes) to see a panorama view of the gorge. Then you continue your travel. In Bokonbaeva village we will meet a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). Night is at the guesthouse.
Day 6: Bokonbaevo – Bishkek
In the morning is transfer back to Bishkek. We will visit our Asian Bazaar and you can buy souvenirs to take home. This bazaar is a noisy and colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. In this bazar, you can buy felt and wool products, wooden crafts, T-shirts, scarves, slippers, magnets, jewelry, and traditional Kyrgyz sweets, etc. Night is at the hotel.
Day 7: Bishkek – Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Our comfortable transport will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. After checking in, you will have a tour of the capital of our country.
You will visit:
Khast-Imam Square;
Barak-Khan Madrasah;
Mazara Kafal-Ash-Shashi Mausoleum;
Kukeldash Madrasah;
the oldest bazaar in Tashkent – Chorsu.
After visiting the oldest places in Tashkent, you will have the opportunity to walk and take many bright photos in Independence Square and Amir Temur Square.
Free time. Night in Tashkent.
Day 8: Tashkent - Samarkand
In the morning, after a delicious breakfast at the hotel, our comfortable transport will take you to the Tashkent railway station, and you will go on a high-speed train to another amazing city of our country - Samarkand. Departure at 8:00. Arrival at 10:08
After meeting at the Samarkand railway station, your excursion will immediately begin.
First, you will find yourself in the very heart of Samarkand on Registan Square, which consists of three amazingly beautiful madrassas - Ulugbek, Tilya-Kori, Sher-dor.
Then visit the Gur-Emir mausoleum.
Next on the program: the tombs of the famous Temurid dynasty, the medieval Bibi-Khanum mosque, the ensemble of tombs of Shahi-Zinda will reveal its secrets to you, the Ulugbek observatory will share its beauty.
Check-in at the hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Samarkand.
Day 9: Samarkand - Bukhara
In the morning, breakfast at the hotel, then our comfortable transport will take you to the railway station of the city of Samarkand and you will go to the next city of your trip - Bukhara. Departure at 7:28. Arrival at 11:19. Meeting at the railway station, transfer to the hotel.
In Bukhara, you will have a walking tour. You will rush to meet new emotions.
You will be amazed by the Samanid Mausoleum, the Chashma Ayub Mausoleum,
you will be intrigued by the Bolo-Khauz and Poi-Kalyan complex,
the ancient Ark fortress and a number of madrassas will make you think about the important things - Abdulaziz-Khan, Kosh, Ulugbek, Kukeldash, Nadir Divanbegi,
you will be delighted by the Lyabi-Khauz ensemble and trading domes.
After such a rich excursion you will have free time. Night at the hotel in Bukhara.
Day 10: Bukhara - Tashkent
In the morning, a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then you will have time to buy gifts for your family and friends.
Transfer to the railway station of the city of Bukhara, and on a high-speed train you will return to the beginning of your journey - the city of Tashkent (departure at 15:50 - Arrival at 19:44). Transfer from the railway station to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Night at the hotel in Tashkent.
Day 11: Tashkent
In the morning, a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Tashkent airport. Flight home!
