Within the framework of the event, the Tourism Committee showcased Uzbekistan’s tourism potential at the country’s national stand, promoting its tourist destinations through presentation materials, video content, and B2B meetings with representatives of Hong Kong’s tourism industry.
Uzbekistan’s participation in this event holds particular significance in terms of strengthening the country’s presence in one of Asia’s крупнейших financial, business, and logistics hubs. Hong Kong serves as an important international gateway to the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets, as well as one of the leading global centers for MICE and business tourism.
On the second day of the forum, the Tourism Committee organized a B2B platform at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with the participation of leading tourism companies, tour operators, and DMC representatives from Hong Kong, including “ABC Travel Agency Co., Ltd”, “CC Holiday Ltd”, “Chan Kee Travel”, “Easy Travel”, “Gold Choice Holidays”, “Harmony Tours and Culture”, “Upper Century Holiday International”, and others.
The Uzbek side was represented by “Ayvan International Avia Tour LTD”, “Satguru Travel”, “Travel Together”, “Maroqand Travel”, “Afandi Travel”, as well as representatives of the Kashkadarya Regional Tourism Administration.
As a result of the meetings and negotiations, around 20 cooperation agreements were signed between representatives of the tourism sector.
The scale of the event once again demonstrated the high-level participation of the Uzbek delegation and the growing interest of the international business community in Uzbekistan as a new center for tourism and investment in Central Asia. More than 150 entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan took part in the business mission to Hong Kong, which also included meetings with business circles, investment presentations, and events aimed at expanding the country’s export and tourism potential.
