During the meeting, information was presented on the company’s investment projects in the fields of tourism, hospitality, energy, and artificial intelligence. The parties also discussed attracting leading Chinese international hotel brands, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, to Uzbekistan, as well as promoting the country’s tourism potential on the international stage.
The sides exchanged views on the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s tourism industry, measures to improve the investment climate, and the development of tourism infrastructure. Interest was expressed in cooperation on developing tourism in mountainous regions based on Hong Kong’s experience, preparing master plans, and attracting foreign investors to infrastructure projects. In addition, a presentation was held on a hotel and family guesthouse project being implemented within the Imam Al-Bukhari Complex in the Samarkand Region.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential internationally, attracting leading Chinese hotel brands, and increasing investment in tourist accommodation facilities.
