The high-level forum brought together parliamentarians from CIS member states, tourism industry experts, representatives of relevant ministries and government agencies, as well as international organizations. Participants discussed key issues related to strengthening tourism cooperation, enhancing traveler safety, improving mechanisms for emergency response and assistance, and increasing mutual tourist flows among the CIS countries.
On the sidelines of the event, bilateral and multilateral meetings were held between participating delegations to explore opportunities for expanding tourism cooperation, exchanging best practices, implementing joint projects, and creating safer and more comfortable travel conditions throughout the region.
Particular attention was given to the development of tourism infrastructure, the wider adoption of digital technologies, the enhancement of emergency assistance mechanisms for tourists, the harmonization of tourism safety standards, and the exchange of best practices aimed at creating a unified and attractive tourism space across the CIS member states.
At the conclusion of the meetings, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, continuing the exchange of expertise in the tourism sector, and supporting initiatives designed to elevate practical collaboration among the CIS countries to a new level.
