At Esenboğa International Airport, the distinguished guests were welcomed by the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and his spouse.
The national flags of both countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up.
A brief meeting was held between the heads of the two states with the participation of the first ladies.
During the conversation, the leaders exchanged views on further expanding the Uzbek-Turkish comprehensive strategic partnership.
Today, the Ak Saray Residence will host the fourth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
The talks will comprehensively address issues related to further deepening the Uzbek –Turkish comprehensive strategic partnership and expanding practical cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, transport, energy, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as in other priority areas.
A ceremony to inaugurate the “Uzbekistan” residential complex in the Arsuz District of Hatay Province, as well as to launch the construction of an Uzbek school in Istanbul, will also take place in Ankara.
