As part of the event, Uzbekistan’s potential in the field of pilgrimage tourism was showcased, highlighting its rich spiritual and cultural heritage, unique historical monuments, and existing infrastructure for hosting international visitors.
During the presentation, exhibition guests learned about the advantages of traveling to Uzbekistan for Muslim tourists, including convenient logistics, a well-developed hotel network, and specially designed pilgrimage routes.
Special attention at the exhibition was given to the ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Tashkent, which for centuries have been important centers of Islamic civilization. Visitors were provided with detailed information about sacred pilgrimage sites, historical mausoleums, modern tourism programs, national cuisine, and comfortable accommodation options.
Participation in this exhibition, which has been held since 2016, helped strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the international tourism market and expand cooperation with foreign partners in the field of pilgrimage tourism.
