In Khorezm, the expedition visited the ancient city of Khiva, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where participants toured its iconic architectural monuments, museums, and other landmark attractions. They also gained first-hand insight into the region’s traditional crafts, cultural heritage, and centuries-old customs.
The expedition then continued to the Bukhara Region, where the international guests visited the city's world-famous historical landmarks, modern tourism complexes, accommodation facilities, and other key attractions, offering a comprehensive overview of the region’s rich cultural legacy and its diverse tourism offerings.
During the visit, participants also learned about the ongoing development of Uzbekistan’s tourism infrastructure, newly launched tourism projects, and the measures implemented to ensure a comfortable, safe, and high-quality travel experience for international visitors.
Following their visits to Khorezm and Bukhara, members of the international expedition praised the excellent preservation of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, the warm hospitality of its people, and the country's outstanding potential for the development of cultural, ecotourism, and automotive tourism.
