A total of 11 domestic travel companies participated in the FAM Tours. Participants visited 2-day, 1-night model tour routes departing from and returning to Tashkent, combining tourist villages and tourism resources across the Fergana Valley.
During the tours, participants were introduced to various tourism resources and experiences, including guesthouse visits, local culinary experiences, traditional crafts, and nature-based tourism activities. The participating travel companies explored the attractiveness of local tourism assets and their potential as tourism products.
The tours also confirmed that, following the February training program, villages have been making efforts to develop new tourism programs, strengthen promotional activities, and improve service quality, demonstrating that the knowledge gained through the training is being put into practice.
Travel companies also provided concrete feedback regarding product development and sales opportunities, creating valuable opportunities for tourist villages to expand market access and strengthen regional tourism cooperation.
The Tourism Committee will continue working with relevant stakeholders to promote sustainable tourism development and support the development of multi-destination tourism routes by utilizing local resources.
