Cooperation with the French Development Agency discussed at the Tourism Committee

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of tourism in the country, the preservation of cultural heritage sites, and increasing tourist attractiveness.

Representatives of the agency presented plans for the full utilization of the potential of the Savitsky Museum in Nukus, including the renovation of buildings and the creation of visitor facilities in line with international standards, as well as the development of a “tourism street” concept around the museum.

In addition, the agency proposed initiatives aimed at developing tourism infrastructure in Uzbekistan and supporting environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism projects with the involvement of international organizations.
