During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Uzbek–French cooperation in the tourism sector. In particular, they addressed preparations for Uzbekistan’s participation in the international exhibition IFTM Top Resa 2026 with the status of Country of Honour, as well as opportunities to use this platform to implement a large-scale PR campaign to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential on the European, including the French, market.
Special attention was given to the development of mountainous areas, the creation of modern ski resorts, the promotion of winter tourism, as well as issues related to diversifying the tourism product and attracting French expertise in destination management and investment cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the partnership and implementing joint initiatives in the field of sustainable and high-quality tourism.
