The first international forum of ancient cities on Monday will open in Ryazan conference " Historical and cultural heritage-the guarantor of sustainable development of ancient cities." The forum will bring together the leaders of 40 cities of the world, founded more than 500 years ago.
Participation in the forum was confirmed by the cities of 12 countries. Bukhara and Tashkent will be represented from Uzbekistan. Experts will discuss the development of the urban environment, history, tourism and cultural heritage in ancient cities.
As part of the business program of the forum in the direction of "Gastronomic tourism" will be presented projects of international cooperation aimed at the development of gastronomic traditions and heritage of the Pskov region.
It is planned to hold master classes, exhibitions, lectures, as well as a cultural program with the participation of creative teams and theaters of the participating cities of the forum, which will end on August 18.
